Tippets - Sleeve Accessories - 14th Century

Tippets - Sleeve Accessories - 14th Century

Product Description

Tippets, medieval sleeve accessories similar to arm garters, appeared in the 14th century as trailing strips of cloth or fur fastened just above the elbow and reaching down to the knee or even to the floor.

They seem to have evolved from the long trailing sleeves that were popular before that time. Tippets can be added to any outfit to further enhance your medieval period persona. Our tippets are made of a white linen-look blend, machine wash cold and dry delicate. Close with lacing, so sizing is adjustable. Length of trailing cloth below the armband is 43 ½ inches finished, this can be adjusted to your desired length at no additional cost.

Measurements:
3 sizes available - measure around your arm just above the elbow to obtain the best fit.

S - 8 inches
M - 10 inches
L - 12 inches
