Medieval War Hammer

The Medieval War Hammer was used mainly in the 15th and early 16th centuries. This war hammer has a head, langets and pommel cap of steel that are pinned and riveted onto a hardwood haft. This late Medieval design was purpose built to puncture the heaviest armors of the day; the pronged head ensures that the hammer is less likely to deflect when striking the curved surfaces of many armors.

Overall Length: 27 1/8 inches
Length of Hammer Head and Pick Combined: 7 1/4 inches
Weight: 2 lb 2.5 oz

First of the customer service was great. I got it on back order and it took a very long time to get to by the sword, however when they got it it was only 2 day shipping untill it was in my hands. And when it was in my hands I could tell, this was a quality weapon. All screws are tight and there are no scuffs or scratches and there is no rust. It looks and feels even better than I expected, and trust me, I had high expectations. Highly recomended for anyone looking for a war hammer. I plan to shop at by the sword again in the future.
