This 17th Century Gorget without Collar is the perfect piece to finish up your 17th Century soldiers outfit. The gorget was an effective piece of protective armor. In fact, it was commonly used by itself in the 16th and 17th century. This gorget is handcrafted from 16 gauge steel. Steel thickness could vary due to the handcrafting methods. One side has a metal rivet, and the other side has a Button-stud neck for the closure.
