Pikemen's Pot 16G 17th Century 58-0071

Pikemen's Pot Early 17th Century in 16G Century Med and Large size

Product Description

Our Pikemen's Pot is a rimmed helmet dating from the Early 17th Century. Pikemen made up the majority of the early to mid seventeenth century infantry. The pikemen stood in rank armed with long spears-pikes (which reached up to 20’ long) to protect the musketeers from enemy cavalry. Each Pikeman was armed with a Pikemens’ Pot, Breast and Back-plate with articulated tassets that covered the thighs, a sword and of course the Pike.

Crafted in 16 gauge steel with a 18 gauge Cheek Plates the Pikemen's Pot Helmet includes a leather chin strap and is lined with canvas. The great visibility of this functional helmet makes it perfect for LARP, Renaissance re-enactments and Stage use. This has a satin finish.

Please Note This item requires 6-8 weeks production time.
