This Horse Trapper with double sided banner and matching knights surcoat has a Rampant Lion Charge and is a medieval horse trapper or caparison. The Trapper or Caparison is a covering, of cloth or leather and normally displayed the knight's coat of arms. The Horse Trapper or Caparison were a part of the horse's armour known as barding and were worn during battles or tournaments. Banner Measures 27.5" x 35.5".
