Our US M36 Musette Bag WWII is an exact replica of the 1936 Mussette Bag. The mussett bag was never officially issued as a backpack however many soldiers used it in place of the unpopular M1928 Haversack. Made from Khaki cotton canvas and stamped with US on the flap and dated 1942. Our Mussette Bag includes webbing straps and black clips. Can be used with our M36 or M44 Combat Field Suspenders. With the addition of a strap the Mussette Bag was also used as a shoulder bag.
