This M1 Garand Sling features a WWI pattern with Brass Fittings. WWI slings were issued with early production. M1 Garands and WWII issue Springfields can use either sling (WWII pattern with steel hardware #803134). Also issued with 1917 Enfields. This style sling is still used today in modified form by high-power rifle competition shooters.
