Product Description

These new Oval Roman Shields are the most elaborate we've ever offered. Each is stoutly constructed of plywood covered with leather. (ancient shields were frequently made by glueing planks together). Oval-we have chosen a wood oval cavalry shield that is covered front and back with leather. It has a black steel boss and gold leather wings and lightning on the face and arm straps on the back. Curved shield is 23" x 39" by 5/16"thick.
