Our Agogo Steel with leather beater has three connected bells, as opposed to the more commonly seen sets of two bells, and provides a greater range of tones. Use the leather beater (included) for a muted sound, or use a stick for a crisper, louder sound. In most cultures, the bell is played by one of the more experienced drummers as a way of marking the beat with it’s sharp, cutting sound. The beater may vary in design and material used.
