The Leather Italian Armet Helm is a leather version of the classic knightly helmet worn from the first quarter to mid 15th century. Leather helms are perfect for re-enactors, LARP and even faire goers. They're lighter and more comfortable than steel, while still providing an authentic look and modest protection. This helm is handmade of very thick harness grade leather.
Our Leather Italian Armet Helm comes with hinged locking side plates, brow reinforce plate and moveable visor. Made of 13-15oz hardened leather plates riveted together. We leave these helmets unlined to fit your own preferences.
