Medieval Chainmail Gauntlets
Our Chainmail Gauntlets protect the back of the hand, we have added mail on our black leather gauntlets and also placed slightly cupped steel lames all around the cuff. These gauntlets offer good protection to the hand, wrist and lower arm from a sword slash or draw cut. There are a pair much like these at the Art Institute of Chicago that are highly decorative, however we have left ours plain to keep the price down and to allow them to be correct for a very long period of history from the Early Middle Ages well into the Renaissance.
To find out your glove size, measure (in inches) around your hand with a tape measure just below the knuckles.
Steel Lames cover the cuffs for extra protection

Leather Gauntlets are soft and supple, covered by the Chainmail and Steel cuffs
Small 7 1/2 - 8 Inches or 20 cm
Medium 8 1/2 - 9 Inches or 23 cm
Large 9 1/2 - 10 Inches or 25 cm
X-Large 10 1/2 - 11 Inches or 28 cm
