Braies 14th Century TT-417
Our early 14th century Braies are short linen blend trousers designed to be worn under hosen, chauses or by themselves. The Braies are made with a gathered and tied waist and should fall to or below the knees. They have a drawstring at the waist, with 2 slits near the front to allow the drawstring to attach to your chauses. Medieval Braies are meant to be very loose (and comfortable) garments and as such our "Large Size" would fit most people and provide a very nice gathered look. For those who prefer a less gathered pair of Braies we also offer Small and Medium sizes. Although Braies were historically white we are now offering them in an assortment of colors!
