Our Genghis Recurve Bow named for the great Mongol khan, is made from pre-stressed layered ash wood and fiberglass. This type of composite bows was commonly used by many Asian peoples. These types of recurve bows are suitable for use from horseback. The leather wrapped handle riser is reinforced by an ash, maple or walnut grip and the limbs are furnished with shaped nocks for string loops.
