Product Description

Developed early in the 13th century, this form of French Great Helm is depicted in the Maciejowsky Bible. Also worn in the Crusades this helm comes with heavy gauge brass reinforcing plates. If you are not planning to use padding in the helm, an optional leather suspension liner is available. The French Great Helm is made from 16 gauge steel. Please include your choice when ordering. Children's armor available for children under 4 feet 11 inches.
