In this modern day and age we are used to thinking of any army or police force in standard matching uniforms, but in the Middle Ages and much of the Renaissance this was not always the case. This type of tabard was in use by the 17th century and indicated an affiliation to a given group or force, but was worn mostly over whatever was the current civilian fashion of dress. We offer here a choice of colors and embroidered on each of the four loose hanging section a cross. One size fits most. Made from 100% cotton twill and edged in black cotton.
