Product Description

Milanese styled Gauntlets are finely crafted, fully functional and reproduced from a pair of c 1420 gauntlets in Churburg castle. Located in the Southern Tyrol, Churburg guarded the Brenner Pass and gave access to Italy as well as the Adriatic Sea. The strategic location provided for great wealth, and also access to the armorers of both Italy and Germany. Comes with rolled edges, leather lined interiors and attatched leather gloves. The fingers have been reinforced with studs and steel plates. These are excellent for SCA combat. They can be made from 14, 16 or 18 gauge steel. Please include your choice when ordering.
