This 16th century Helm is characterized by it's high combed skull, brow peak and hinged ear pieces. Our Sport Burgonet comes with a functional falling buffe with pierced steel for air flow. Constructed from 16 gauge steel. A Common Helm of the 16th C. Often worn historically without the “Buff” or face guard in place. Ours has two Buff one more open for competitive sport fighting.Extra hooks and studs keep the Buff in place during sport fighting
