Product Description
Our Medieval Archers Buckler Shield is a re-enactment version of the small round shield known as the buckler which remained popular from the 13th to the 17th century. This Medieval Archers Buckler Shield was copied from a 14th century shield. Many archers preferred this to the full-size shield to be able to move more quickly. Also, the buckler could be hung from the sword scabbard when two hands were needed for pulling the longbow. Made from steel. 13" diameter.
