The early 16th century Maximilian Close Helm is characterized by the narrow lines of fluting which were popular during the reign of the Emperor Maximilian I. The visor is fully functional and pivots from bolts on each side of the skull. Made from 18-gauge steel, it comes with brass rivets and roping.
