M1A1 Carbine Patatrooper Non-Firing Repo Rifle 1944 w/Sling WWII 24-1132S
In response to the need for a smaller, more maneuverable rifle for our Airborne troops the M1 carbine was fitted with a folding stock in 1942. This "paratrooper model" was designated the M1A1 and various versions were used through WWII into the Vietnam era. This model is based on the 1944 M1. Complete with a working folding stock, canvas sling and removable magazine.
