Our Phoenix Leather Blank Book portrays the legendary Phoenix - a bird of mythology that is said to be consumed in its own flame only to be reborn anew - this blank book is a fantastic place for anyone who wishes to put to pen a journal, book of shadows, or any other such diary or journal as they explore their new beginning. Created out of fine, hand-tooled leather, the book displays the Pheonix in flight on its front cover, with talons ready to grasp and wings spread wide as it is wreathed in flames and Celtic knot work. Its back displays the more serene image of the bird born again within an egg of flame, framed within similar borders of Celtic knotwork. All of this is vividly worked in bright colors that brings the design to life.
The sturdy leather binding of the journal contains approximately 280 pages of blank white paper, crafted from recycled biomass, and measurse approximately 5" wide and 8" long. Environmentally friendly, this method not only reduced dependence on wood pulp but also results in an acid-free paper that is sturdy enough for a variety of mediums, including charcoal, paint, ink, and pencil.
