The Flamberge Rapier originates from early 17th century Europe, where swordplay with the rapier was considered an essential part of a gentlemen's education and was often used in resolving gentlemanly disagreements. Our Deepeeka Rapiers are all hand forged from high carbon cutlery steel, ground and polished and are close to the originals in weight, size, and workmanship. Wooden leather covered grip with twisted red wire. Solid steel guard with scent-stopper shaped pommel. Diamond sectioned Flamberge blade is 39" long . Overall 45". Scabbard is black leather with steel throat and tip.
