Our Spanish Castilla and Leon Breastplate of Fluer de Lys by Marto  is an One-piece breastplate covering the fore trunk. This model breast plate was typical of the Spanish armory of the 16th century and was mainly worn by foot soldiers. This handcrafted steel breast plate is enriched by a 24K Gold plated riveted metal sheet ornated by some figures in relief: two fleur de lys and a central oval depicting the coat-of-arms of the Castilla and Leon region of Spain. The breastplate was fastened to the body through leather belts that cross themselves on the back.

Our Mounted Spanish Knight of the 16th Century in Suit of Armor by Marto is a reproduction of the ones that belonged to Charles V and Philip II, that are part of the collection of the Real Armeria in Madrid. The armor has been made in polished steel, characterized by floreal figures etched on the many of the pieces composing it's surface. The knight rides a horse harnessed with an elaborate polished steel armor. Provided with jousting lance and wooden platform. An exquisite decor piece. 

Available in your choice of a rich red fabric caparison ornated with flower motifs or a rich black fabric caparison ornated with flower motifs and 24K Gold plated steel armor.

The Hanwei Tinker Pearce Early Medieval Sword Blunt Trainer by Paul Chen is typical of the 13th - 14th century single hand swords but the Type XII blade was known to be in use from as early as the late Viking era. The Blunt trainer is an exceptional match for I.33 sword and buckler study. See item OH2406 for a sharp replacement blade or OH2407 for a blunt replacement blade.

Michael `Tinker` Pearce new line of swords that will satisfy both the sparring and cutting needs of Western Martial Arts practitioners. The swords meet Tinker`s exacting quality requirements and are built in much the same way as his custom pieces. Each blade is forged from 5160 Spring Steel, Marquenched to the desired hardness of 50-53 Hrc while the tang is drawn back to the low 30s Hrc. For the Medieval models the very end of the tang is threaded to fit an allen nut recessed into the pommel which allows for dismantling of the hilt assembly for inspection, to exchange blades if needed, and for anyone wanting to easily customize their grip. Also the Sharp and Blunt blades are interchangeable on all Medieval models. The grips are cord wrapped and leather covered wood and tapered for a comfortable grip. Each sword is supplied with a leather covered wood scabbard with metal throat and chape.

The weight, balance points and blade harmonics are the same for the sharp or blunt versions of each sword! This means you can easily switch from the blunt trainer to the sharpened sword with no problems.
