This Gambeson is manufactured with heavy cotton shell, lined with cotton and padded with a wool blend for reinforcement. Wool is excellent for absorbing blows. This all-purpose gambeson was used by knights and men-at-arms alike. Sleeves have leather trimed underarm cutouts for ease of movement. Leather strap and buckle front closure. Dry clean only.
