Our Pirate Sword or Cutlass in Antique Brass Finish is a replica of the Pirate Cutlass that was a short slashing sword, ideal for the close- quarters battles aboard great sailing men-of-war. Generally regarded as a pirate weapon, the Pirate Sword was, in fact, issued to the Naval personnel of many countries, and this piece replicates a French naval style of the early 19th century. Excellent for maritime re-creations. The blade of this Pirate Sword is made from stainless steel and is very sharp.
