The Viking Spectacle Helm is a variation of the Viking Spangenhelm and is so named for the eyepieces formed integrally with the nasal. For heavy reenactors' battle this is one of the sturdiest Viking combat helmet. It is made from 14 gauge mild steel (2.3 mms or .09 inch thick).
It fits even larger heads quite well (hat size 7.3/4) (63 cms.), it has a leather chin strap and an adjustable leather lining inside and there is still room for some extra padding.
