One of the favorite activities of the Middle Ages was hunting Wild Boar. Drivers would herd the boar towards a lone warrior with a spear. He would bravely stand with his back against a tree. The Boar would charge, and at the last second before being ripped to shreds, the man would raise his weapon and spear the Boar. Our boar pouch would have been a great means to display his bravery for all to see.
