The 2nd model FG-42 is introduced on a limited basis. This Fallschirmjaeger Gewehr was only made for the WWII German Paratrooper units and were produced in very limited numbers. Only a few more that 5000 were ever produced. The improved 2nd model was used by elite German Units at the battle of the Bulge in 1944 and 1945. The FG-42 represents the best of the original Assault Rifles developed in World War II. The rifle fired the full powered German 7.92mm Rifle Cartridge. This non firing replica is a limited edition, Collector's model and is constructed of over 85 machine metal and wood parts. Comes assembled, has working bolt action and includes the bayonet and removable 20 round magazine. The FG-42 can be disassembled by a qualified gunsmith. We believe this is the finest and most detailed replica of its type ever offered.
