A hauberk is a shirt of chain mail armour usually describing a shirt reaching at least to mid-thigh and including sleeves.Our chainmail Hauberk is a long sleeve mail armor shirt that is knee length, made to our specifications and sized to fit Americans. Hand crafted from stainless steel (non-rusting) butted chainmail rings in the European 4 in 1 mail pattern. The chain mail rings have a 9mm inner diameter and are made with battle ready 16 gauge steel. The sleeves are approximately 20" long and the chain mail shirt reaches approximate knee length depending on a persons build and the padded doublet worn underneath (as the midriff increases, the shorter the hauberk).Available in SIZES from Small (up to 40" chest), Medium (up to 46" chest), Large (up to 52" chest), X-Large (up to 60" chest) and 2X-Large (up to 70" chest)! Please note; For a good fit, make sure you wear all clothing/padding before taking chest measurements and add 3" to that measurement.
