Black first quality cowhide, brass buckle on the instep, and trimmed with the finest gold lace from ports afar!Heel is 2-1/2", the toe is slightly blunt (1"). Sole is of a hard manmade material. We have made our highest quality cow leather boot in a great new knee boot style!Upper is all first quality cow leather. The tongue is attached to both sides and is of a soft and supple kidskin. This allows the boots to accommodate the larger than average calf size!The sole and heel are Vibram for longer wear and sure footing.NOTE-Pictures above show the boot with a Vibram sole that the lugs can be seen from the side when worn.
