The guitar lute is a really neat instrument. It is a 6-stinged instrument, tuned like a guitar. The body is thinner, but larger than that of a guitar. It has a variegated body with an unfinished spruce soundboard and a center rosette. The top of the peg box has a woman's head carved on the top. The Guitar Lute measures 40 1/2" tall. Ebony nut with Tuning Gears rather than traditional tuning pegs. Scale length is 25 3/8"; nut width is 2" Classical neck. 3 strings are nylon and 3 are wound nickel nylon. Staves are Rosewood and Mulberry.
