Some of the most beautiful Armour produced was the gothic fluted Armour. Born out of necessity, the fluting makes the Armour stronger while not having to increase the material thus keeping the armor lighter. The result was a harness of plate with graceful lines.

Our SCA legal Gothic Fluted Leather Gorget (13-15oz) is made from Quality Leather. You have a choice of either heavy 13-15oz Armour Grade leather or lighter 8-10oz LARP leather. We also give you a choice of a plain gorget or you can add a Flat or Scalloped collar. Available in a wide variety of colors.

Most of our leather Armour is made from natural un-dyed cowhides. Each hide comes in a different shade of natural leather; some are very light, others are very dark. This affects the color, as well as how much dye the hide will accept. Even your computer screen will vary the colors of our sample pictures.
