Our Denix Miniature Medieval Catapult is a replica of Catapults capable of throwing large objects have existed since Roman times, and though this miniature from Denix replicates an 11th century piece the design had changed little over the intervening period. Capable of throwing anything from rocks to fireballs to dead horses (and lately pianos!), these implements were used in besieging wall-enclosed cities and surely struck terror into the citizenry. These miniatures actually work and will propel small candy-sized missiles over several feet!
