A Word Concerning Deepeeka

Mr. Dan Peterson, military historian, author, museum curator and re-enactor, is now a part of Deepeeka to help, create, modify and authenticate their line of armour, weaponry and equipment.

Dan organizes period re-enactment groups and individual impressions ranging from ancient Greeks, Romans and Celts, through the dark and middle ages, and up to the Napoleonic and American Civil wars. Dan is perhaps known best for his book on the roman legions. From his founding of the first true re-enactor authentic Roman unit back in 1981, Legio XIV Gemina Martia Victrix, Dan has studied the collections of Roman military equipment throughout Europe. At the time, nearly 20 years ago, sources for authentic reproduction Roman armour and weapons were practically non-existent.

We are happy to be able to offer one of the largest collections of Roman period re-enactment and collectors items on the market.
