Regimental Dirks | | The Regimental Dirk, with its integral knife and fork set, was worn from the mid-19th century onwards. Traditionally, officers of Highland line regiments carried the brass mounted versions while for officers of militia regiments and pipe majors the silver mounted versions (SH1044, SH1229) were favored, though there were many exceptions to this rule. The grips of the two models are of stained wood, carved in the customary basket-weave pattern and surmounted by the traditional 'gairngorm' SH1229 and amethyst on the SH1044 The 11 1/2" blades are file worked in the popular scalloped pattern. A suspension loop is provided on the scabbard. |

Highlander Dirks | | These very ornate highlander dirks have a "Backed" Blade (single-edged and wedge-shaped in cross-section) which is fullered and pierced. Each comes with a suede covered wooden scabbard. Blade 9", Overall Length 14" |
