Our Copper Penny Tavestock Coin 1811 is a Replica of a British Penny Token ** Made from copper.
This was a privately issued token and the coin had no official legal tender value. This penny is typical of tokens of the period having a local view on one side. This particular view is of the Devon Mines in southern England.
Each of our replica historic coins will satisfy the needs of living history groups and coin collectors. These coins are semi-replica hammered coins that really do look and feel authentic.
