Chainmail Coif (Stainless Steel)

A mail hood or coif is a close fitting cap that covers the top, back, and sides of the head made from mail. Mail (also maille, and often chain mail or chain maille, is a modern usage) is a type of armour or jewelry that consists of small metal rings linked together in a pattern to form a mesh. Mail armour provided a highly effective defense against the weapons of the era.

Hand crafted from (non-rusting) stainless steel riveted chainmail rings in the European 4 in 1 mail pattern. The chainmail rings have a 9mm inner diameter and are made with battle ready 16 gauge steel and round head rivetes.

Available in SIZES from S/M (up to 24" head circumference), L/XL (up to 28" head circumference)!

Please note; For a good fit, make sure you wear all clothing/padding before taking measurements.
