Carlos V Charles The Fifth Supreme Ref: SG252 Charles the fifth (Carlos V) 1500 - 1558 was one of 7 rulers of the Holy Roman Empire named Charles. At age 20 he ruled half of the known world. He gained his first kingdoms when he inherited the crowns of Castile and the Netherlands at age 6. Only 10 years later he became ruler of Spain as Charles I. In 1519 he was elected Holy Roman Emperor as Charles V, and was crowned in 1520. Charles ruled sometimes with compromise, and sometimes with his mighty sword, and now you can own a replica of this mighty sword beautifully crafted with a stainless steel blade.
