Our Australian Officers Helmet New South Wales 1855 is a rare Infantry helmet that saw action in Egypt during the British campaign. The NSW unit of 522 men left Sydney in response to Gordon's death after the siege of Khartoum in the Sudan. You get a great Military helmet that no one else has that is custom made to your own measurements! Standard helmet is made from 18 gauge steel with a padded cloth liner. This helmet has the option of a thicker gauge steel as well as a custom riveted leather liner.
