The George VI Rationing Bronze Penny is an Original 1936-1952 WWII British Coin. In May 1941, an adults weekly food ration was - 3 pints of milk, 8 oz of jam, 2 oz of tea, one shillings (12 pence) worth of meat, 6 oz of butter, 2 oz of cooking fat, 4 oz of bacon, 1 oz of cheese and 8 oz of sugar. The leather belt has a soft finish that will hold its color and will last for years of events. Belt is 72 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and is soft and flexible.
The pouch is made from thick suede leather and is just large enough for small items like, cell phones, keys, wallets and other modern gear. It features a natural button and leather loop closure. Buttons will vary. A riveted belt loop is attached to the back with six sturdy rivets to securely hold it in place. This is a rugged, and historically accurate addition to your reenactment outfit or costume. Measures 5 inches x 5.5 inches overall.
